KAVOD
Ensuring Dignity for Holocaust Survivors

It’s been over a month since members of Righteous Crowd have heard from us. We hope that everyone is safe and healthy!

This format will be a work in process, but without further ado, here is an organization we are donating to today. We hope you’ll join us!

The Organization: KAVOD-Ensuring Dignity for Holocaust Survivors

The Cause: Helping Holocaust Survivors

The Reason: January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We honor the memory of the millions killed in the Holocaust. We also want to help make the lives of living survivors a bit better.

The Big Idea: It has been estimated that there are 80,000 Holocaust survivors living in the United States and that over 1/3 are living at or near poverty levels. Simply, KAVOD provides emergency aid to Holocaust survivors in need.

To Donate: Here 100% percent of donations go directly to survivors in need.

Bonus: Next month is Diane’s Dad’s 100th birthday! He’s a Holocaust survivor from Radom, Poland.

Extra: Amy was recently interviewed on the podcast Judaism Unbound about the history and the changes to Righteous Crowd.
