The Organization: KAVOD-Ensuring Dignity for Holocaust Survivors

The Reason: Today, January 27, is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We honor the memory of the millions killed in the Holocaust. We also want to help make the lives of living survivors a bit better.

The Big Idea: Approximately one third of the Holocaust survivors in the U.S. live in poverty. KAVOD provides emergency aid to these survivors in need.
