The Organization: Family-to-Family
The Cause: Family-to-Family, Inc. is a grassroots not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing food, personal hygiene products and other basic life essentials to American families struggling with the challenges of poverty. Currently, Family-to-Family is working in 27 communities helping families, veterans, refugees and Holocaust survivors.
The Reason: This month we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. According to a Children's Defense Fund report, more than 10 million children—nearly 1 in 7 live in poverty. In 2020, there were 37.2 million people in the US living in poverty.
